Worthley Road Project - The week of October 9, 2017 will include the paving of First Street, Second Street, and Third Street, and the reclaiming and paving of Hill Top Drive, Wilkins Street, and Plymouth Street Extension. Driveway aprons, raising of drainage structures, and loam and seeding is schedule for the week of October 16, 2017. Wearing course pavement, and job clean-up is scheduled for the week October 23, 2017.

The Week of Aug 28 - The contractor will be installing drainage on Worthley Road from Town Line North to Fourth Street. There will be one lane alternating traffic during work day hours 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Worthley Road Work -Starting the week of August 21. 2017 Weaver Brothers Const. Co., Inc. will start work on Worthley Road . The work will consist of tree clearing, earthwork and drainage. Alternating one-way traffic and flaggers will be used to route the traveling public through the work zone.
Over the next few weeks, clearing and tree trimming will take place on First Street, Second Street, Third Street, Hill Top Drive, and Plymouth Street. Extension.
The Town of Bedford is getting ready to start work in the Worthley Road area, and Monday we will be setting up a message board trailer to inform the public. First St, Second St, Third St, Hill Top Drive, Plymouth St. Extension, and Phase II of Worthley Road. Construction to start work soon on these six streets.
Work to entail: Clearing, Tree Trimming, Drainage, Some Road Reconstruction, and Paving. A tentative schedule will be posted as information becomes available.
The plans for the Worthley Road side streets are complete. The plans include proposed cul-de-sacs or hammerhead turnarounds on Hilltop, Plymouth, First, Second and Third Streets. The town has acquired 4 of the 7 necessary easements to move the project forward.

Phase I of the Worthley Road reconstruction project is substantially complete. Phase II from Constant Street to the Manchester Town line will resume in the Spring of 2017.
The Town has programmed the reclaiming and paving of First, Second and Third Streets in 2017.
