This project consists of the reconstruction of Beaver Lane, Blanford Place, Windsong Circle, Elk Drive and Freedom Way. Work includes the replacement of culverts crossing the road, installation of underdrain, repaving of the roadway and placement of shoulder gravel.
Work is scheduled to begin the week of April 6 on Beaver, Blanford, and Windsong. The contractor will be clearing and trimming trees in the right-of-way and replacing roadway culverts. This will be followed by the reclaiming of the roadway and installation of underdrain. Expect delays and seek alternate routes if possible. There will be periods of alternating one-way traffic through the work zone as well as limited road closures. The roads will be closed to through traffic during normal working hours and fully re-opened to traffic each evening. Police details, detour and advisory signage and flaggers will be in place to assist motorists.
