Arrangements have been made for the New Hampshire Department of Transportation to hold a public meeting in the Town of Bedford. The intent of this meeting is to review and discuss the proposed widening of three segments of the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Bedford, Merrimack and Nashua, located just north of Exit 8 in Nashua and ending near the NH Route 101/I-293 interchange in Bedford.
There will be an informal open house from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a formal presentation at 7:00pm. It will also be aired live on Bedford Community Television.
The purpose of the meeting are to present to citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input to ensure that the project decisions meet public transportation needs and community goals, and protect and enhance the environment.
